mETHOD sTATEMENT
This guide must be fully explained to all employees involved in the operation of the machinery. They are to sign the signature box at the end of the statement to acknowledge receipt of the information.
Booking Conditions
In order to book your scheduled service we require full payment in advance unless discussed otherwise with non-account customers. If you would like to discuss payment arrangements, please contact us. Any overpayment on invoices will be reallocated by BACS to the customer.
Cancellation Policy
If less than 48 hours’ notice of the scheduled service is given, the customer is required to pay 50% of the booking. If less than 24 hours’ notice of the scheduled service is given, then the customer is required to pay 100%.
What to expect on the day of your hire
Our pump driver will arrive at least 30 minutes early prior to arrival of concrete in order to set up. Before we are to set up, we ask that the customer be ready prior to our arrival in order to avoid any delays.
The customer shall provide bags of cement. Upon booking will let you know how many bags of cement we will require. This will help prime the pipes to ensure no blockages are made during the pumping process. If cement is not provided, the customer will be charged accordingly per bag of cement.
The customer shall provide the pump driver with a place to wash out anything leftover and shall be discarded by the client.

Responsibility of the Customer
The customer must ensure that all personnel are competent, fully trained, equipped with suitable PPE inclusive of eye protection and are fully conversant with the risk and dangers associated with concrete pumping.

Supply Conditions
The hirer and on site representatives of the hirer, is fully responsible for the management and supervision of the entire pumping operation and must have sufficient and competent operations to carry out the work and assist our operator. The hirer and on site representatives should be particularly aware of the following;-
The pump must have safe access and egress from the site. Any damage to the pump inclusive of punctures will remain the hirers responsibility.
Site must be adequately illuminated for all aspects of the pumping works. Suitable set up and location capable, without deflection, of supporting the pump and outrigger loadings. Should any additional ground support be required this will be supplied by the hirer. Imposed loadings are indicated on each individual outrigger. All normal weight concrete mixes must be suitable for pumping operation.
The additional additives, specialised mixes inclusive of light weight aggregates, steel fibres, or mixes above C40 must also be suitable for the pumping operation and must be advised at the time of booking. The hirer must provide the pump and operator suitable wash out location adequate for compliance of any environmental controls and water supply to the pump.
Full insurance against any and all liabilities the hirer might incur associated with any element of our works. This is inclusive of any boom movement particularly when being operated in restricted locations.
Concrete should not be called in until the operator has viewed the pump pour, safely set up and cycled the pump, they will then advise all is ready to commence pumping.
While we try our best to fulfil request for particular pumps and operators whenever possible, we have to consider holidays, sickness and prior commitments so this may not always be possible.
